NICE IN TRAINING

When a person trains once, nothing happens. When a person forces himself to do a thing a hundred or a thousand times, then he certainly has developed in more ways than physical. Is it raining? That doesn’t matter. Am I tired? That doesn’t matter either. At this point, willpower will be no problem
(Emil Zatopek, winner of four Olympic Gold Medals)

Emil Zatopek, the winner of four Olympic Gold Medals tells us on his quotation above that everything we want to achieve in this world needs us to struggle or have a good training for any activities even the lower part of activities in this world. Before we start to the higher level, let us refer back to our childhood moments. Before we know the world, we were fully depends on our parents. However, we cannot depend to them all the time. We need to learn the way of this life, both the easy and good part and the sad and happy part in our life.
Do you remember the first time you could walk alone? It is happen just like that, naturally or needs you to have some training before you enable to do that? I know that no one of us is able to remember the first time we can walk without holding our parent’s hands. But we can simply refer to the children nowadays. Firstly, a mother will hold both of their child hands before let them try to walk with themselves. Then, mothers will hold only one of the child’s hands and then let them try to walk by themselves. At first, we will see that the child will fall down. It was not only once but many times. Although every person will fall down different times but at the end of their personal training, they will be able to walk alone. And the success then welcomes by the words of wisdom or simply congratulates them in different ways.
Actually, the things always happen in our life since our childhood until our golden age. In fact, we will always trains ourselves to succeed in all part of life especially in education that take almost all part of our life because without education we are nothing.
So, if the training is important in our everyday life, what is the real meaning of TRAINING? According to the Business Dictionary. com, training is best define as organized activities aimed at imparting information or or and instructions to improve the recipient’s performance or to help him or her attain a required level of knowledge or skills. Personally I agree that the definition itself can prove the world that the importance of training is not just a myth. Although we are loaded by the Science and Technology product, still we need to practice more to be almost perfect as nobody is perfect in this world. On the other hand, we can simply conclude that we need training besides by gain their nice too. However some people confused about the need and nice of training. So, the next paragraph is all about the need and nice of training. Does they different or just a same thing? Let’s go through in each of them.
When we talked about nice, we might confuse about its true meaning since the word NICE also was a name of the city of Southeast France on the Mediterranean Sea Northeast of Cannes. However, this word is truly not related to this city. The word ‘nice’ here means others thing. For more explanation, let us refer to the Business Dictionary.com definition about this word. ‘Nice’ are defined as good or satisfactory. In conclusion, ‘nice’ simply refer to the ‘benefit’ of training. What is the nice of training then? I will take sport and education as a main reference in giving an idea about nice in training.
Firstly, when athletes do a lot of training, they will gain benefits such as achieving their goal. Let us compare the athlete that do a lot of training to them who train less. Of course the one who practice more will win the game. Am I right? That is the first nice from having a lot of training.
Secondly, those who train more will have a good stamina. Stamina not only used in competition but more in everyday life. For example, someone who works as a footballer and also a father needs more energy in order to manage his life. Other than spending time to play football, he has another important thing to do. That was a Family organization. As a head of the family, he cannot let the family destroy just because he does not have time to spend with his family. When he has a good stamina, he will not only able to arrest her energy while playing but continue to serve his family as good as he can.
Apart from sport, let us refer to the education field. In this field, we can simply divide them into two parts; a person that receive knowledge from the person who teach them (students) and a person that teach the students (teacher or lecturer). Students can divide into two too; students in a lower education and a higher education. As students, of course we need to keep practice to understand more each of the subjects that we learn. When a student keep practicing what they have gain at school, they will have an extra knowledge on how to use the knowledge in their real life. For example in mathematics, students learn on counting a numbers, add, minus, subtract and dividing them. Those operations can use in budgeting and planning our monthly expenses. For those who apply in their life will understand it more. That’s the nice of keep practicing it.
Referring to the higher education, we can simply take the trainee teacher at Institut Pendidikan Guru Malaysia as an example. Bina Insan Guru (BIG) is one of their activities that they must do. BIG train all trainee teachers to survive at the jungle. This activity seems irritated a lot of trainee who doesn’t ever do such things. However if they keep practicing the activities that they have learned from BIG, they actually have overcome the problem that they might face when they are posted to the rural-area. Those who practice more will win the situation first and enjoy the benefits that he or she gained.
Above all, practice builds our characteristics too. Lou Holtz the football coach said that ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it. Lou Holtz told us that the nice or benefits from having a training will reflect or determined by our attitude.
First and foremost, when we have a lot of training, we have developed our self-respect and confidence. If we respect ourselves, we will be less likely to be swayed by another pressure especially peer-pressure for those who called a students. Confident also help us to be much easier to say no when faced the temptations to go against all things that lead us to wrong way. We also will have courage to speak up and maybe suggest an alternative activity or stand up for what we believe. It all happen when we achieve an award in a competition or in our life it will automatically develop our self-respect and confident.
Last but not least, we will develop a loyalty and commitment in ourselves. As we know, training needs to sacrifice in order to get a good result. We need to have a commitment to continue training. We must be loyal to our team, stick to them and maybe sacrifice a big thing in order to keep a promise between us and our team. All of these actually our nice or benefits from training in every part of our life.
